Liverpool travel to Inter Milan hoping to make it four English clubs in the last eight of Europe's top clubs competition. England is about to be acknowledged as Europe's best league - but which of the four will go closest to winning the tournament?

Tuesday, 11 March 2008; UEFA Champions League

Inter Milan () vs Liverpool (), (agg 0-2), KO 19:45

Inter Milan will be desperate to overturn the 2 goal deficit, but after watching Arsenal humiliate AC last week will be mindful that English teams are suddenly very, very dangerous. Liverpool are hitting cracking form at the business end of the season and with the league title just a little too distant (if somewhat closer than it looked like being two months ago) this is the only tournament that Liverpool can win. Inter's domestic form has started to fade recently and given a two goal lead to overturn the suspicion is that Liverpool can get a goal on the break and come back with at least a draw.

Predictions
Hugh Larkin; Home (but Liverpool qualify)
Antony Melvin: Draw
