2 (4=) Blackburn Rovers: +6.7pts;

Maximum points in October for Blackburn and oddly the equivalent fixtures last season all fell in the final month of the season.  At that time Blackburn's long season caught up with them.  Last season Blackburn saw off the three teams that were eventually relegated at home so success against promoted Birmingham was equivalent.  But Blackburn ended last season with a pair of score draws against Reading and Spurs - which were last month converted into a pair of wins.  A strong month for Mark Hughes' team as they surge in terms of relativity.
