Bolton Wanderers vs Chelsea: Premier League Prediction Panel 2008/9 - preview and predictions

Bolton had a great November, starting the month in the relegation zone with Gary Megson's ears ringing to chants of 'you don't know what you're doing' Bolton went on to beat Man City (2-0), Hull (1-0), Middlesbrough (3-1) and Sunderland (4-1) - with only an unfortunate 2-0 defeat against Liverpool spoiling the month. Bolton are scoring goals and Bolton's record signing, Johan Elmander is looking good value.

Chelsea will want to put pressure on Liverpool and Manchester United after a poor run of form has seen it slip to second and United close up in third. Only two wins for Chelsea since it thumped Sunderland 5-0 on 1 November and set Roy Keane's resignation in train, with too many lacklustre performances endangering Champions' League and Premier League ambitions. Added to this the dogmatic Didier Drogba is determined to drive his manager dotty - if Anelka twangs something then Chelsea could really struggle.

Chelsea will start as favourites but Bolton are in better form and at home.

Bolton Wanderers vs Chelsea; Kick Off 3:00pm 6 Dec 2008
