Aston Villa v Fulham: Can the Villa move three points closer to safety?

Bookmark and Share

Matthew Lowton's screamer against Stoke City last weekend helped the Villans towards three crucial points in their fight for survial, but can they back up that victory with another three points against Fulham this afternoon?

The Cottagers haven't won at Villa Park in the league for 40 years, and are traditionally poor travellers, but have three away wins under their belts this season - including their recent 1-0 success over Spurs.

Late goals have been a major feature in four of their past five meetings so I wouldn't leave early, but can Paul Lambert's men move even closer to safety?
