Manchester City v Norwich City: Can the Canaries cause an upset at the Etihad?

Bookmark and Share

Axed Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini showed his class yesterday by taking out a full page ad in the Manchester Evening News thanking the fans for an amazing three years at the club. If only the owners had the same respect.

Sacking Mancini a year after winning the title, despite finishing second and reaching the FA Cup Final, was a disgrace. The Italian should have been allowed to end the season at City and say his farewells to the fans in person, not through a newspaper.

However, City must move forward and Brian Kidd will want to sign off this season with another win under their belts as they host Norwich City this afternoon.

The Canaries sealed their place in next season's Premier League with a vital 4-0 win over West Brom last weekend and they can go into today's game stress free. Although Chris Hughton will be looking for his boys to get a result today, the football world is expecting a City win.

Man City v Norwich City; Kick Off 4pm May 19 2013
